Isa, the son of Maryam (Jesus, the son of Mary),’ whereas they neither killed nor crucified
[an-Nisā’, 4:157]
وَّ قَوۡلِہِمۡ اِنَّا قَتَلۡنَا الۡمَسِیۡحَ عِیۡسَی ابۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ رَسُوۡلَ اللّٰہِ ۚ وَ مَا قَتَلُوۡہُ وَ مَا صَلَبُوۡہُ وَ لٰکِنۡ شُبِّہَ لَہُمۡ ؕ وَ اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ اخۡتَلَفُوۡا فِیۡہِ لَفِیۡ شَکٍّ مِّنۡہُ ؕ مَا لَہُمۡ بِہٖ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍ اِلَّا اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ ۚ وَ مَا قَتَلُوۡہُ یَقِیۡنًۢا
﴿۱۵۷﴾ۙ
And (also) because of their uttering (the boastful claim): ‘We (have) killed Allah’s Messenger, the Messiah, ‘Isa, the son of Maryam (Jesus, the son of Mary),’ whereas they neither killed nor crucified him. But (in truth) someone was made the like (of ‘Isa—Jesus) in their view. But those who disagree about him have surely fallen prey to doubt (concerning) this (murder). They know nothing (what the truth is) except (that they are) following fancy. And they certainly did not murder ‘Isa (Jesus).
और उनके इस कहने (यानी फख़्रिया दावे) की वजह से (भी) कि हमने अल्लाह के रसूल, मर्यम के बेटे ईसा मसीह को क़त्ल कर डाला है, हालांकि उन्होंने न उनको क़त्ल किया और न उन्हें सूली चढ़ाया मगर (हुआ ये कि) उनके लिए (किसी को ईसा अ़लैहिस्सलाम का) हम शक्ल बना दिया गया, और बेशक जो लोग उनके बारे में इख़्तिलाफ कर रहे हैं वोह यक़ीनन उस (क़त्ल के हवाले) से शक में पड़े हुए हैं, उन्हें (हक़ीक़ते हाल का) कुछ भी इल्म नहीं मगर ये कि गुमान की पैरवी (कर रहे हैं), और उन्होंने ईसा (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) को यक़ीनन क़त्ल नहीं किया।
[an-Nisā’, 4:158]
بَلۡ رَّفَعَہُ اللّٰہُ اِلَیۡہِ ؕ وَ کَانَ اللّٰہُ عَزِیۡزًا حَکِیۡمًا
﴿۱۵۸﴾
In fact, Allah lifted him up towards Himself (in heaven) and Allah is Almighty, Most Wise.
बल्कि अल्लाह ने उन्हें अपनी तरफ (आस्मान पर) उठा लिया, और अल्लाह ग़ालिब हिक्मत वाला है।
[an-Nisā’, 4:159]
وَ اِنۡ مِّنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ اِلَّا لَیُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِہٖ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِہٖ ۚ وَ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ یَکُوۡنُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ شَہِیۡدًا
﴿۱۵۹﴾ۚ
And, (shortly before the Last Hour at the time of the Messiah’s descent,) there will not be any (individual or sect) of the People of the Book, but will (rightly) believe in ‘Isa (Jesus) before his death; and ‘Isa (Jesus) will bear witness to them on the Day of Resurrection.
और (क़ुर्बे क़ियामत नुज़ूले मसीह अ़लैहिस्सलाम के वक़्त) अह्ले किताब में से कोई (फर्द या फ़िर्क़ा) न रहेगा मगर वोह ईसा (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) पर उनकी मौत से पहले ज़रूर (सहीह तरीक़े से) ईमान ले आएगा, और क़ियामत के दिन ईसा (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) उन पर गवाह होंगे।
