In relation to Surah Fateh, these translators misquoted the Qur'aan? These translators as quoted below used these words for Nabi E Kareem ﷺ?

❌ so that Allah may forgive you for your past and future shortcomings

❌ Allah may forgive you what has passed of your misdeeds and what is yet to come

❌ Allah may forgive you for your sins before this victory and after it

❌ Allāh may forgive for you what preceded of your sin [i.e., errors]

❌ Allah may forgive you of your previous and subsequent faults,

❌ Allah may forgive you your guilty (deeds)-whatever of them has gone forward and whatever is postponed-

48:1

إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًۭا مُّبِينًۭا ١

  Verily, We have given you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) a manifest victory.

48:2

لِّيَغْفِرَ لَكَ ٱللَّهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِن ذَنۢبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكَ وَيَهْدِيَكَ صِرَٰطًۭا مُّسْتَقِيمًۭا ٢

so that Allah may forgive you for your past and future shortcomings, perfect His favour upon you, guide you along the Straight Path,

✅ Now let us analyse the Translation from Ahlus'Sunnah wa Jamaat:

[al-Fath, 48:1]

اِنَّا فَتَحۡنَا لَکَ فَتۡحًا مُّبِیۡنًا ۙ

﴿۱﴾ 

(O Esteemed Beloved!) Surely, We decreed for you a clear victory (and the dominance of Islam so that your great struggle might be completed with success),

(ऐ हबीबे मुकर्रम!) बेशक हमने आपके लिए (इस्लाम की) रौशन फत्ह (और ग़ल्बे) का फैसला फरमा दिया। (इसलिए कि आपकी अ़ज़ीम जिद्दो जहद कामयाबी के साथ मुकम्मल हो जाए) ।

[al-Fath, 48:2]

لِّیَغۡفِرَ لَکَ اللّٰہُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنۡ ذَنۡۢبِکَ وَ مَا تَاَخَّرَ وَ یُتِمَّ نِعۡمَتَہٗ عَلَیۡکَ وَ یَہۡدِیَکَ صِرَاطًا مُّسۡتَقِیۡمًا ۙ﴿۲﴾ 

So that Allah forgives, for your sake, all the earlier and later sins (of all those people) of your Umma ([Community]* who struggled, fought and sacrificed by your command), and (this way) may complete His blessing on you (outwardly and inwardly) in the form of Islam’s victory and forgiveness for your Umma (Community), and may keep (your Umma) firm-footed on the straight path (through your mediation),

* The co-related noun is estimated and has been omitted here. The intention is ma taqaddama min dhanbi ummati-ka wa ma ta’akhkhar. It is because the following subject relates to glad tidings of sending down tranquillity, admission to Paradise and forgiveness of sins. If Verses 1 to 5 are studied together, the meaning will become self-evident. The leading exegetes have elucidated it under Verse 55 of Sura al-Mu’min. In li-dhanbi-ka the co-related noun is Umma which is omitted. On this basis, therefore, wa-staghfir li-dhanbi-ka denotes the sins committed by Umma. The leading scholars Imam al-Nasafi, Imam al-Qurtubi and al-Shawkani have drawn the same meaning. To summarise:

1. Wa-staghfir li-dhanbi-ka means li-dhanbi Ummati-ka, that is, the sins of your Umma. (al-Nasafi in Madarik al-Tanzil wa Haqa’iq al-Ta’wil, 4:359.)

2. Wa-staghfir li-dhanbi-ka means li-dhanbi Ummati-ka, hudhifa al-mudaf wa uqima al-mudaf il-ayh maqama-hu. It is stated that wa-staghfir li-dhanbi-ka implies the sins of Umma. The co-related noun has been omitted in the given phrase and is represented by the noun it is co-related to. (al-Qurtubi in al-Jami‘ li-Ahkam al-Qur’an, 15:324.)

3. Wa qila li-dhanbi Ummati-ka fi haqqi-ka. This is also expositioned that li-dhanbi-ka means for the misdeeds committed by Umma pertaining to what is your due. (Ibn Hayyan al-Andalusi in al-Bahr al-Muhit, 7:471.)

4. Wa-staghfir li-dhanbi-ka means dhanbi Ummati-ka, fa-huwa ‘ala hadhfi al-mudaf. It implies the sins of Umma and this interpretation is based on omission of the co-related noun. (al-Shawkani in Fath al-Qadir, 4:497.)

ताकि आपकी ख़ातिर अल्लाह आपकी उम्मत (के उन तमाम अफराद) की अगली पिछली ख़ताएं मुआफ़ फरमा दे * (जिन्होंने आपके हुक्म पर जिहाद किए और कुर्बानियां दीं) और (यूं इस्लाम की फत्ह और उम्मत की बख़्शिश की सूरत में) आप पर अपनी नेअ़मत (ज़ाहिरन व बातिनन) पूरी फरमा दे और आप (के वास्ते से आपकी उम्मत) को सीधे रास्ते पर साबित क़दम रखे। 

* (यहां हज़फे मुज़ाफ वाक़ेअ़ हुवा है। मुराद ما تقدم من ذنب امتک وما تاخر है। क्योंकि आगे उम्मत ही के लिए नुज़ूले सकीना, दुख़ूले जन्नत और बख़्शिशे सय्यिआत की बिशारत का ज़िक्र किया गया है। ये मज़्मून आयत नंबर: 1 से 5 तक मिलाकर पढे़ं तो मअ़ना ख़ुद बख़ुद वाज़ेह हो जाएगा और मज़ीद तफ्सील तफ्सीर में मुलाहिज़ा फरमाएं। जैसा कि सूरह मुअमिन की आयत नंबर 55 के तहत मुफस्सिरीने किराम ने बयान किया है कि لذنبک में “उम्मत” मुज़ाफ है जो कि महज़ूफ है, लिहाज़ा इस बिना पर यहां واستغفر لذنبک से मुराद उम्मत के गुनाह हैं। इमाम नस्फी, इमाम क़ुर्तबी और अ़ल्लामा शौकानी ने येही मअ़ना बयान किया है। - हवाला जात मुलाहिज़ा करें: 1. (واستغفر لذنبک) ای لذنب امتک“यानी अपनी उम्मत के गुनाहों की बख़्शिश तलब कीजिए”। (नस्फी, मदारिकुत्‌ तंज़ील व हकाइकुत्‌ तावील, 4: 359) 2 (واستغفر لذنبک) قیل: لذنب امتک حذف المضاف و اقیم المضاف الیہ مقامہ واستغفر لذنبک के बारे में कहा गया है कि इससे मुराद उम्मत के गुनाह हैं। यहां मुज़ाफ को हज़फ करके मुज़ाफ इलैह को उसका क़ाइम मक़ाम कर दिया गया।” (क़ुर्तबी, अल जामेअ लेअहकामिल क़ुरआन, 15: 324) 3. وقیل لذنبک لذنب امتک فی حقک ये भी कहा गया है कि لذنبک यानी आप अपने हक़्क़ में उम्मत से सरज़द होने वाली ख़ताओं की बख़्शिश तलब कीजिए।” (इब्ने हय्यान, उन्दुलुसी, अल बहरुल मुहीत, 7: 471) 4. (واستغفر لذنبک) قیل المر ادذنب امتک فھر علی حذف المضاف “ कहा गया है कि इससे मुराद उम्मत के गुनाह हैं और ये मअ़ना मुज़ाफ के महज़ूफ होने की बिना पर है।” (अ़ल्लामा शौकानी, फत्हुल क़दीर, 4: 497) )
