शफाअ़त / intercede / intercession

[Muhammad, 47:19]

فَاعۡلَمۡ اَنَّہٗ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ وَ اسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لِذَنۡۢبِکَ وَ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ وَ الۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ یَعۡلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَکُمۡ وَ مَثۡوٰىکُمۡ

﴿٪۱۹﴾

Know then that there is no God except Allah and (to offer worship and to educate the Umma [Community]) always ask forgiveness (from Allah) lest (in the perspective of your glory, majesty and exaltation peculiar to you alone) an action unworthy of your incomparable station may transpire.* And also seek forgiveness (i.e., intercede) for the believing men and women (for that is all they may have in balance for forgiveness). And, (O people,) Allah knows (all about) the places where you move about (in the world) and your mansions of repose (in the Hereafter).

* Given that the action may be a pious deed compatible with Islamic law, rather an act par excellence, your august station, majesty and exaltation is far elevated and dignified than mere permissibility and higher grades of moral excellence.

पस जान लीजिये कि अल्लाह के सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं और आप (इज़्हारे उबूदियत और तालीमे उम्मत की ख़ातिर अल्लाह से) माफी मांगते रहा करें कि कहीं आपसे (अपनी शाने अक़्दस और ख़ुसूसी अ़ज़मतो रिफअ़त के तनाज़ुर में) ख़िलाफे औला फेअ़ल सादिर न हो जाए * और मोमिन मर्दों और मोमिन औरतों के लिये भी तलबे मग़्फिरत (यानी उनकी शफाअ़त) फरमाते रहा करें (यही उनका सामाने बख़्शिश है), और (ऐ लोगो!) अल्लाह (दुनिया में) तुम्हारे चलने फिरने के ठिकाने और (आख़िरत में) तुम्हारे ठहरने की मंज़िलें (सब) जानता है।

* (हालांकि वोह फे’ल अपनी जगह शरअ़न बिल्कुल जाइज़ बल्कि मुस्तहसन होगा मगर आप सल्लल्लाहु अ़लैहि व सल्लम का मक़ामो मर्तबा और अ़ज़्मतो रिफ्अ़त महज़ जवाज़ और इस्तिहसान के मरातिब से भी बहुत बलन्द और अ़र्फ़ओ आ’ला है।)
