Qur'aan and foundation for our understanding of nociceptors as specialized sensory receptors for pain

In the 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗤𝘂𝗿ʾan, human physiology is evident, as Allāh reveals concepts that science has only recently begun to understand. A significant advancement came in the late 19th century when German physiologist Max von Frey identified specialized nerve endings in the skin that responded to mechanical stimulation and transmitted pain signals. This discovery laid the foundation for our understanding of nociceptors as specialized sensory receptors for pain.
