"I have not created Man and Jinn but for Worship" 

▪︎ Holy Quran Sura Az Zariyat 56

This means that Humankind and Jinns were created to achieve Realization of Almighty Allah.

Therefore,if one doesn’t understand the Being [Zat] of Almighty Allah then how will it be possible for him to worship Him?

Ma'rifah (Gnosis of Allah).is acquired when the veils of the Nafs (ego) are removed from the mirror of the heart and similarly the heart must be cleansed of all intenal and external impurities.

Then only will it be able to experience and enjoy "Kanz e Makh'fi" [Hidden Treasures of Almighty Allah's Light].

This state is only experienced in the depths of the secret chambers of the pure heart.

Almighty Allah states in Hadith Qudsi

"I Allah was a Hidden Treasure and ordained to be known .Thus I created Man so that he may achieve my Ma'rifa [Realization]"

Therefore it is clear that Allah Almighty created Man to bless him with His Ma'rifa.
