The Fitna [Mischief] is very Heinous and that is we listen only to the Qur'aan and Hadith. We do not accept any Imaam, Scholars, Saint, Prominent Scholar, Hadith Experts, Islamic Jurists, no one. They are humans and we are humans, this is indeed deviation.
You cannot fully understand all of the meaning of Qur'aan and Hadith merely from the text unless you listen to those who know the Qur'aan and Hadith more than you and me.
That's why having a teacher is important.
By studying textbooks on your own without studying from teachers or institutions you cannot even become a doctor or an engineer - no one gives you a degree, how can you become a scholar and expert in Deen without studying it from teachers?
Everything has a procedure, everything has certain manners [Adab] and conditions.
Islam and the knowledge of Islam have been treated in such a way by people that without taught by teachers, without a chain of transmission and without evidence, anyone who learns to speak he claims to be a scholar. And He is ready to mislead others and the younger generations are ready to be misled.
