𝗕𝗜𝗗’𝗔𝗛 𝗛𝗔𝗊𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗛: 𝟭𝟮 𝗊𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗬 𝗊𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗊 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗢𝗊𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗛
1. Imām Qādī ‘Iyyād al-Mālikī stated: 
“𝘉𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 𝘪𝘎 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘀𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘀𝘩 𝘪𝘎 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘊𝘭 - 𝘩𝘢𝘎 𝘯𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘊𝘀𝘊𝘥𝘊𝘯𝘵; 𝘪𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘀𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘊 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘚𝘳𝘊𝘊𝘎 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘢𝘩, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘎 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘚𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘢𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘊𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘎𝘊𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘺 (𝘮𝘢𝘩̣𝘮𝘶̄𝘥); 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 [𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩] 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘀𝘩 𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘎𝘊𝘎 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘢𝘩, 𝘪𝘎 𝘮𝘪𝘎𝘚𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘀𝘊 (𝘥𝘢𝘭𝘢̄𝘭𝘢𝘩); 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘎 𝘪𝘎 [𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘮𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘵] 𝘪𝘯 ‘𝘌𝘷𝘊𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 [𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩] 𝘪𝘎 𝘮𝘪𝘎𝘚𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘀𝘊.’”
[𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮̄𝗿𝗶𝗟 𝗮𝗹-𝗔𝗻𝘄𝗮̄𝗿 ‘𝗮𝗹𝗮̄ 𝗊𝗶𝗵̣𝗮̄𝗵̣ 𝗮𝗹-𝗔̄𝘁𝗵𝗮̄𝗿 𝟭/𝟎𝟭]
2. Imām Aḥmad ibn Yaḥyā al-Wansharīsī al-Mālikī stated: 
“𝘛𝘩𝘊 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘊𝘳 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 𝘪𝘎 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘊 𝘥𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘵 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘀𝘢𝘎𝘊 𝘣𝘺 𝘀𝘢𝘎𝘊 𝘣𝘢𝘎𝘪𝘎. 𝘌𝘷𝘊𝘳𝘺 𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 𝘪𝘎 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘊 𝘎𝘶𝘣𝘫𝘊𝘀𝘵𝘊𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘐𝘎𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘀 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘀𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘊𝘎 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘊𝘳 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘀𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘧𝘪𝘷𝘊𝘎 𝘀𝘢𝘵𝘊𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘊𝘎 (𝘪.𝘊. 𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘚𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺, 𝘳𝘊𝘀𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘊𝘯𝘥𝘊𝘥, 𝘱𝘊𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘎𝘎𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘊, 𝘥𝘪𝘎𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘊𝘥 𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘣𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘊𝘯) 𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘎.”
[𝗮𝗹-𝗠𝗶’𝘆𝗮̄𝗿 𝗮𝗹-𝗠𝘂𝗎𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗯 𝗩𝗌𝗹. 𝟭, 𝟯𝟱𝟳-𝟯𝟱𝟎]
3. Imām Yaḥyā ibn Sharaf an-Nawawī ash-Shāfi’ī in his commentary on these words in Saḥīḥ Muslim explains the context regarding the ḥadīth “kullu bid’atin dalālah”, he states:
“𝘏𝘪𝘎 𝘎𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘚, 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢̄𝘩’𝘎 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘊𝘳𝘎 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘊𝘢𝘀𝘊 𝘣𝘊 𝘶𝘱𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘮: (𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘷𝘊𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘎 𝘮𝘪𝘎𝘚𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘀𝘊), 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘎 𝘪𝘎 𝘢 𝘎𝘱𝘊𝘀𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘀 𝘚𝘊𝘯𝘊𝘳𝘢𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘊𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘰𝘷𝘊𝘳𝘞𝘩𝘊𝘭𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘚. 𝘛𝘩𝘊 𝘱𝘊𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘊 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘚𝘶𝘢𝘚𝘊 𝘎𝘢𝘪𝘥: 𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘊𝘷𝘊𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘚 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘊 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢 𝘱𝘳𝘊𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘎 𝘊𝘹𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘊. 𝘛𝘩𝘊 𝘎𝘀𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘎 𝘎𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 𝘪𝘎 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘪𝘷𝘊 𝘀𝘢𝘵𝘊𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘊𝘎; 𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘚𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺, 𝘳𝘊𝘀𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘊𝘯𝘥𝘊𝘥, 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘊𝘥, 𝘥𝘪𝘎𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘊𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘊𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘎𝘎𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘊.”
[𝗊𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗵̣ 𝗊𝗮𝗵̣ī𝗵̣ 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺 𝟲/𝟭𝟱𝟰]
4. Imām Ibn Ḥajar al-Haythamī ash-Shāfi’ī said regarding the ḥadīth of ‘Every bid’ah being misguidance’:
“𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘀𝘩 𝘪𝘎 𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘊𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘩̣𝘢𝘥ī𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 ‘𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘎 𝘢𝘳𝘊 𝘊𝘷𝘪𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘊𝘷𝘪𝘭 𝘢𝘳𝘊 𝘪𝘯 𝘏𝘊𝘭𝘭𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘊’, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘎 𝘩̣𝘢𝘥𝘪̄𝘵𝘩 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘊𝘧𝘊𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 𝘢𝘭 𝘮𝘶𝘩̣𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘢 (𝘪.𝘊. 𝘀𝘢𝘵𝘊𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘩̣𝘢𝘳𝘢̄𝘮 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘎 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺), 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘊𝘳𝘎.”
[𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗮̄𝘄𝗮 𝗮𝗹-𝗛̣𝗮𝗱ī𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘆𝘆𝗮𝗵, 𝗩𝗌𝗹. 𝟭, 𝗣𝗮𝗎𝗲 𝗡𝗌. 𝟭𝟬𝟵]
5. Imām Abū Ḥāmid al-Ghazālī ash-Shāfi’ī stated: 
“𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘎𝘢𝘪𝘥, 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘊𝘊𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 (𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘎) 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘊𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘱𝘢𝘎𝘎𝘪𝘯𝘚 𝘰𝘧 𝘙𝘢𝘎𝘶̄𝘭𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘢̄𝘩 ï·º 𝘪𝘎 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘊𝘥. 𝘛𝘩𝘊 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘎 1) 𝘞𝘩𝘊𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 𝘀𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘀𝘵𝘎/𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘎𝘊𝘎 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘊𝘎𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘎𝘩𝘊𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘢𝘩 2) 𝘞𝘩𝘊𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘪̄’𝘢𝘩 𝘪𝘎 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘎𝘚𝘳𝘊𝘎𝘎𝘊𝘥 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘊𝘹𝘪𝘎𝘵𝘊𝘯𝘀𝘊 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘀𝘢𝘶𝘎𝘊. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘣𝘊𝘀𝘰𝘮𝘊 𝘀𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘎𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘞𝘩𝘊𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘎𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘀𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘚𝘊𝘎.”

6. Imām Al-Ḥāfidh Ibn Ḥajar al-‘Asqalānī ash-Shāfi’ī said in Fatḥ al-Bārī, Sharḥ Saḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Vol. 2, Kitāb al-Jumu’ah, chapter on the Adhān on Friday:
“𝘌𝘷𝘊𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘚 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘞𝘢𝘎 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘎 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘊 - 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢̄𝘩 𝘣𝘭𝘊𝘎𝘎 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘱𝘊𝘢𝘀𝘊 - 𝘪𝘎 𝘀𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘊𝘥 𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘎𝘰𝘮𝘊 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘚𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘎𝘰𝘮𝘊 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘎𝘰𝘮𝘊𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘚 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘊𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵.”

7. Imām Ibn Athīr al-Jazarī ash-Shāfi’ī stated:
“𝘉𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 𝘪𝘎 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘞𝘰 𝘵𝘺𝘱𝘊𝘎: 𝘛𝘩𝘊 𝘉𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘀𝘊, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘉𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘪𝘎𝘚𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘀𝘊, 𝘎𝘰 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘊𝘷𝘊𝘳 𝘪𝘎 𝘪𝘯 𝘀𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘀𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢̄𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘏𝘪𝘎 𝘔𝘊𝘎𝘎𝘊𝘯𝘚𝘊𝘳 (ï·º) 𝘀𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘊𝘥, 𝘵𝘩𝘊𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘀𝘢𝘵𝘊𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘀𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘊𝘮𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘊𝘫𝘊𝘀𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘊𝘷𝘊𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘎 - 𝘀𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘎 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘊𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘚𝘊𝘯𝘊𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘮𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘚 𝘰𝘧 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢̄𝘩 𝘩𝘢𝘎 𝘳𝘊𝘀𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘊𝘯𝘥𝘊𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘳𝘚𝘊𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢̄𝘩 𝘰𝘳 𝘏𝘪𝘎 𝘔𝘊𝘎𝘎𝘊𝘯𝘚𝘊𝘳 (ï·º), 𝘵𝘩𝘊𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘀𝘢𝘵𝘊𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘎𝘊.”
[𝗮𝗹-𝗡𝗶𝗵𝗮̄𝘆𝗮 𝗳ī 𝗚𝗵𝗮𝗿ī𝗯 𝗮𝗹-𝗛̣𝗮𝗱ī𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗮’𝗹 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗩𝗌𝗹. 𝟭, 𝗣𝗮𝗎𝗲 𝗡𝗌. 𝟭𝟬𝟲]
8. Imām Al-Ḥāfidh Badr ud-Dīn al-‘Aynī al-Ḥanafī wrote:
“𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘵𝘎 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘵 𝘮𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘚 𝘪𝘎 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘚 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘀𝘩 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘊𝘹𝘪𝘎𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘊 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘔𝘊𝘎𝘎𝘊𝘯𝘚𝘊𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢̄𝘩 (ï·º) 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘎 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘞𝘰 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘎. 𝘐𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘀𝘩 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘎 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘊𝘳 𝘎𝘰𝘮𝘊𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘚 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘎𝘊𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳ī’𝘢𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘊𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘢 𝘚𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 (𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘯 𝘩̣𝘢𝘎𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘯) 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘀𝘩 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘎 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘊𝘳 𝘎𝘰𝘮𝘊𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘚 𝘳𝘊𝘱𝘳𝘊𝘩𝘊𝘯𝘎𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘊 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳ī’𝘢𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘊𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘎 𝘢 𝘳𝘊𝘱𝘳𝘊𝘩𝘊𝘯𝘎𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘊 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 (𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘯 𝘮𝘶𝘎𝘵𝘢𝘲𝘣𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘯).”
[‘𝗚𝗺𝗱𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹 𝗀𝗮̄𝗿ī 𝟭𝟭/𝟭𝟮𝟲]
9. Imām Sa’d ud-Dīn at-Taftazānī al-Ḥanafī while rebuking those who misinterpreted the concept of bid’ah states: 
“𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘊𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘞 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘊𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 (𝘢𝘭-𝘣𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘵𝘶 𝘢𝘭-𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘮𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘶) 𝘪𝘎 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘊𝘥 𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘳𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘚𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘀𝘩 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘊𝘹𝘪𝘎𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘊𝘳𝘢 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘚𝘢𝘩̣𝘢̄𝘣𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘎𝘶𝘀𝘀𝘊𝘎𝘎𝘰𝘳𝘎 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘎 𝘯𝘰 𝘊𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘊𝘯𝘀𝘊 𝘎𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘚 𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳ī’𝘢𝘩. 10. Imām Ibn ‘Ābidīn ash-Shāmī al-Ḥanafī: 
“𝘉𝘪𝘥’𝘢𝘩 𝘀𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘊 𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘚𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 (𝘞𝘢̄𝘫𝘪𝘣𝘢).
